Neat looking so far. Since you said you'd like ideas, I would experiment with either sizing up the phone so it takes up more of the screen, making the text messages a lot bigger, or maybe even adding more to that onscreen conversation so it looks like there's more of a history between the two people (before scrolling down to focus on the check up texts). You could also work with the background to maybe convey some emotion, like using blues or other desaturated colors to help convey the mood.
I don't particularly know how this effect works, but I also think emphasizing all the other missed messages on the phone could be done with making the notification bubble jiggle a little bit like it's trying to get your attention (and give the audience a clue for this being a reoccurring issue). Or, getting into smaller details, you could customize the message contact a little, like with a custom nickname or a silly picture (to establish a bit more of an emotional connection between these two people).

ReplyDeleteCan not see where you actually did the tutorial. Enlarging the type for emphasis would help ( like in the tutorial)
