Pretty cool so far! I'm wondering about the font/style change about halfway through what you've already done. Was that intentional and are you trying to set up a different tone? Because otherwise it feels a bit disjointed from the initial font you used. Also, you introduced color in the beginning and I think it could be fun to carry that over into the rest of your video, depending on if you want to keep it for emphasis or add a bit more visual interest alongside the black text
Love the variation and emphasis you put on certain words, it helps keep things interesting yet flows really nicely. Only thing that I noticed is maybe some of the words could be synced just a little bit more.
I love how this is going so far. I really like the animations for "catch and release" it fits so well. I have the same question that Emily has about the font changing halfway through but I'm assuming its a placeholder until you get around to that part of the video. Good work!
I think you can tone down the effects. They get to bd too much and cut off really quickly. So stick to one or two effects, or lessen the amount of times you use them.
I really like the effects and animations you use! I think you could think about letting them linger for longer to add some drama and emphasis to the words.
Hi Reece Great start. I think just continue what you are doing, it is looking good. I would not distort the font. Type blasphemy is to distort type faces as all kinds of relationships with a negative space get lost. Having said that I think it's OK to stretch and things with animation, as long as the type retains its integrity somewhere along the way. Great soundtrack, I would reverse engineer the ending of the music, use the ending that came with the original cut it in the middle and overlap it with the beginning. They've already given you a big finish nine times out of 10.
I really enjoyed your animations, and I think the ones you chose go really well with the words and overall emphasize the meaning.
ReplyDeletethe animations help the flow a lot and make sense. i like how chaotic it feels because it matches what the speech is about.
